Our organisation includes INIA and CITA as associated partners, with a collaborative role in the proposal. INIA is a Research Institute which has contributed to the implementation of National programmes on Conservation and Sustainable Use of Forest Genetic Resources. Specifically, it is experienced in establishing the genetic basis for the application of FRM directives in Spain, including delineation and characterization of regions of provenance, characterization of base and reproductive material both in productive and adaptive traits, and in defining breeding and conservation strategies.
