Institut Technologique Forêt Cellulose Bois-construction Ameublement
FCBA is a multi-sector industrial technological institute created by the merging of AFOCEL and CTBA. FCBA is composed of 340 people working for the whole forest-based sectors, including forestry, pulp and paper, wood construction, and furniture with different activities such as innovation, research and development, technical assistance, certification, testing, standardisation, training information, etc. FCBA is present countrywide through several regional teams and in permanent contact with the professionals of the forest-wood and furniture chains.
The innovation and research activities are structured around a pool of laboratories and teams composed of researchers, engineers and technicians. The research axes are related to subjects concerning the forest-wood and furniture chains.
