The Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH is a non-profit research organization owned by the Republic of Austria with 50.46% and the Federation of Austrian Industries with 49.54%. From over 800 employees, the Health & Environment Department deals with environmental technologies and health related issues. The main focus is to develop new technologies, methods and tools for the exploitation and sustainable use of environmental resources.
